This is the first summer that Xavier Snyder will be working at ICC, and he is excited to have the opportunity to continue working with young people! For years Xavier has worked with kids at his school, Louisville Adventist Academy; and over the past year, he has worked in the YMCA’s After-school Child Enrichment Program, where he taught and worked with kids on a variety of activities and life skills.

Xavier is a Hoosier by birth but has lately made the full move to Louisville, Kentucky. This next fall, he will be attending Southern Adventist University to study Political Science/International Relations. Yet, he still plans on sharing the gospel with young people as much as he can!

Xavier’s favorite Bible verse is found in Micah 7:8, which says, “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” Xavier has taken this verse to heart and made it his goal to ensure that every camper he talks to knows that even though they may fall, God is always there to help us rise again.

Xavier enjoys exploring and traveling, as well as playing sports. He also wants everyone to know that his favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and Indiana Pacers!
