Karsten Rogers is thrilled to be able to work at Indian Creek Camp this summer. He has a passion for God that is undeniable, and a desire to share that enthusiasm with those that he comes in contact with. He is currently a student at Oakwood University studying Theology and Business Management. This will be Karsten’s first summer at ICC serving as a Boys’ Counselor. Karsten has also worked as a Boys’ Counselor/Coach at NBC Basketball Camps.

Karsten grew up in Seattle, WA and attended Auburn Adventist Academy. He spent numerous summers at Sunset Lake Camp and always loved any sports-related activities, especially basketball. You will never have to ask him more than once to partake in macaroni and cheese because that is his favorite.

Above all else, Karsten loves to uplift Jesus Christ in both his words and actions. One of his favorite verses comes from Romans 8:1, which says, “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”[1] This verse is a constant reminder that Christ’s love prevails over everything, and a result there is no need to fear.
