Kara Wait will be joining the Indian Creek Camp staff for the first time this summer, and she could not be more excited! She was a camper at ICC (way back when) at the ages of 11 and 12 and loved it so much she just had to come back. Kara has spent the past 6 summers working at a Summer Day Camp near her home in Arden, North Carolina where she learned to love summer, children, and Jesus more every year! Through her experience with camp, God was able to lead her to pursue a career in Elementary Education, which she is currently studying (and LOVING!) at Southern Adventist University. This summer, Kara will be joining ICC as a wrangler. She has grown up around horses since the age of 4. Currently, she owns 3 horses and has experience in both Western and English style riding, along with experience in teaching riding lessons and training young and/or problematic horses. As a camper, the horse barn was Kara’s all-time favorite activity, and she is ecstatic to join the barn at ICC as one of the wranglers!
