Abbye Waterhouse is extremely excited to be returning to the Indian Creek Camp family for her fifth summer as staff. This summer she is coming to us as Girls Director and is ready to be a mentor to every child that walks through the doors. Previously, Abbye was so excited to start her journey at ICC at a young age that she put in two years as kitchen staff and two years as a counselor/lifeguard. Abbye has had many babysitting jobs, worked with VBS, helped out at the nearby Elementary school, and had a part time job as a lifeguard for swim teams at Middle Tennessee State University. Abbye loves getting to know kids and one of the most rewarding things to her is when children run up to her from past experiences at ICC.
Abbye has grown up in the Nashville area all her life and previously attended The University of Chattanooga as a Nursing major. She loves to be with family and friends especially enjoying activities outside on a sunny day. She is easy to talk to and loves getting to know people. She enjoys splurging on tasty treats and enjoys trying new restaurants. Abbye seeks to more like Jesus Christ in her everyday life and as a reminder she leans on Proverbs 3:5,6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make you paths straight.”
